I am primarily interested in exploring the evolutionary landscape of dynamical proteins, and, using bioinformatical and biophysical tools, decipher the molecular basis for substrate specificity and the alternating access mechanism. Currently, I mainly focus on the sugar transporter family and other members of the MFS superfamily
