Oliver has a background in physics and did his master thesis on particle-field interactions in multiphysics simulations. Before joining Delemotte lab in 2017 he worked at a startup and as a programmer developing surveillance software for financial markets. He is currently investigating the signal-transducing properties of membrane proteins such as GPCRs (G protein-coupled receptors) by performing molecular dynamic simulations and analyzing existing molecular dynamics trajectories.
Oliver is an enthusiastic reader and traveler. Apart from that he enjoys different kinds of outdoor activities in general, such as running, skiing, hunting and hiking.
- Master of Science in Engineering (Theoretical Physics), KTH Royal Institute of Technology (2014)
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics, KTH Royal Institute of Technology (2012)
